How LiftedNest gets made — the research, the review, the AI use, and where the pictures come from.
Our approach
LiftedNest exists to answer one question over and over: how do you get a specific look in a rented, budget-constrained room? Every article is built around that — a real budget, a renter-safe method, and a current aesthetic. We'd rather publish fewer, more useful guides than pad the site with filler.
How we research and write
We use AI tools to help with research, keyword and trend analysis, and first drafts — it lets a small team cover more ground than manual research alone would allow. But AI output is a starting point, not a finished article. Every piece is reviewed, edited, and fact-checked by a human editor before it publishes: checking that budget totals add up, that "renter-safe" claims actually hold up, that product recommendations are real and currently available, and that the writing sounds like LiftedNest and not like a generic template.
Fact-checking and accuracy
Prices, product availability, and trend claims are checked against current sources at the time of writing and publishing. Because prices and inventory change constantly, we can't guarantee a figure quoted six months ago is still exact today — but we do periodically review and update older articles, marking them with an updated date when we do.
Corrections
If something on LiftedNest is wrong — a broken link, an outdated price, a technique that didn't actually work the way we described — tell us. We'll verify and correct it. Meaningful corrections are reflected in the article's updated date; we don't quietly rewrite history on anything substantive.
Image sourcing
Images on LiftedNest come from a mix of sources: original photography, licensed stock libraries, and — while the site is young — brand-designed graphics that we're upfront about being illustrative rather than photographic. We credit original creators wherever a specific credit is required. If you're the owner of an image used on this site and would like it removed, contact us with the page URL and we will remove it within 48 hours.

We only recommend specific products we believe genuinely fit a Starter Space on the budget described — affiliate relationships do not determine what we recommend, and we turn down placements that don't fit an article honestly. Editorial independence
No retailer, brand, or affiliate partner gets to review or approve an article before it publishes, and none influence our budget numbers or recommendations. If a product isn't good, we don't recommend it — commission or not.
